The Black Country Wellbeing Centre is a Community Interest Company based Vale Street, Upper Gornal, Dudley. We are a non-profit making organisation and rely solely on donations. our own fundraising efforts and external funding to help maintain and ensure the longevity of the Centre and our wok within the community.
Founded in 2019, BCWC is the brainchild of Founder and Director, Wade Cooper who, with the help of local businesses, supporters and volunteers, transformed this once derelict building into a thriving community centre for the sole purpose of providing a welcoming, safe environment for the local community to enjoy and participate in a wide range of activities, clubs and community events.

Several months later, with kindness, generosity and support of friends, volunteers and local businesses BCWC began to take shape.
By 2020 the Boxing ring had been installed as well as punch bags and updated seating.
Boxing sessions are available for boys, girls and adults from the age of 6 years plus. Whether you want to compete, train for fun or simply keep fit, boxing has a range of benefits including confidence building, endurance and stamina.
Established in 2021, BCWC U9 and U15 football teams compete in the Stourbridge & District Youth Football leagues.
Our twice weekly Lunch Club is open to all. We offer a warm and friendly welcome to anyone looking to meet new people and companionship.
BCWC have many events throughout the year to raise awareness for the Centre & our classes as well as raise vital funds the upkeep of BCWC.
